About Our Owner
European Motorwerks was founded by Eric Hallas, whose lifelong passion for cars started in driveways and grew into a career of dealership-level expertise. After 15 years at BMW—where he completed advanced training and worked on the dealership’s race team—Eric transitioned from the corporate world to build a shop centered on integrity, craftsmanship, and customer service. Since 2013, he has proudly served the Austin community, bringing decades of hands-on experience and a deep love for racing, performance builds, and European engineering to every vehicle that enters the shop.
